FDSE Announces Improved Tube Shelf Lives

July 23, 2011; HOUSTON, TEXAS - Factory Direct Safety & Environmental (FDSE) announced updates to the shelf lives of its line of Uniphos gas detection tubes.

FDSE President Brent Yaschuk said that Uniphos conducted extensive long-term testing, and could now certify about half of all tubes with shelf lives increased by one to two years. Some of the most important tubes, include Water Vapor tube, shelf lives increased from one to two years, most Hydrogen Sulfide tube lives increased from two to three years, and Carbon Dioxide tube lives also increased from two to three years.

Yaschuk indicated that these updates are part of FDSE’s and Uniphos’ goal of continued product improvement and customer satisfaction.

FDSE showcases line of Uniphos pumps and gas detection tubes

April 13, 2010; HOUSTON, TEXAS - Factory Direct Safety & Environmental (FDSE) will showcase its line of Uniphos pumps and gas detection tubes at AIHce 2010 in Denver, Colorado.

FDSE President Brent Yaschuk said the May 22-27 conference will mark the premiere of Uniphos products in the U.S.

In 1993, Uniphos began selling its new line of gas detection tubes. These product lines are designed to work effectively for clients in the petrochemical, pipeline, refinery, safety, environmental and fumigation sectors with the ability to detect over 150 different gases and several ranges.

Uniphos is a division of United Phosphorous Ltd., and Deputy General Manager Rahul Singh said they are excited about the new partnership with FDSE.
